Tramp Art Rustic Wall Mirror Handcarved, Austria circa 1890

Offered by: Masterpiece Antiques

Description
Exceptional looking rustic Tramp Art wall mirror from the late 19th century around 1890 in Austria. This very special crafted, elaborately made rural wall mirror impresses with its fantastic variety of different elements: chip carved "cross" styled corners with honeycomb pattern with wooden rosettes on top, interrupted by artfully designed wooden diamond shaped applications in the middle parts of the frame. The so resulting, outstanding looking patterns in combination with the notch cut design in beautiful different brown tones and the slightly protruding corners, make this one of a kind antique mirror an absolute extraordinary Tramp Art art work. The mirror plate has been renewed during the restoration process. A metal clamp on the backside makes wall mounting easy. Another remarkable rustic wall mirror in our highly demanded Tramp Art collection coming in perfect restored condition.
