French 19th Century Mahogany Directoire Desk

Description
A French 19th Century Directoire style desk made of rich mahogany with an inset worn leather top. There are two slides with leather tops that pull out on each end of the desk. Each slide extends 11 ½”.There are four total drawers all with empirical style escutcheon plates and working locks. There are three keys present. The drawer on the right is a double height drawer disguised as two drawers to mirror the other side. The sides and back of the desk are simple and compliments the sleek style of this desk. The legs are tapered and finish with square brass cups. Recently polished with a French paste wax this desk is ready to use. Be sure to view the detailed images.
