Eye-catching, gilt Biedermeier wall mirror coming from the second period in Austria. Dating back to around 1860, the wonderful looking broad frame impresses with its deep carved, open worked floral themed work, covered with a light grey surface by showing slight abrasions of composition gold her and there. The gilt inner frame builds the perfect addition with its delicate carved flowers and stucco works. The beautifully aged surface has a lovely patina and confers this antique mirror a very charming appearance. An amazing piece of a late Biedermeier wall mirror in great original condition, only the mirror plate had to be renewed.
