Description
A beautiful and delicate Finnish mid-century ceiling lamp model ES 155 by Itsu, one of the leading lighting manufacturers in Finland.
The lamp is in its absolute original condition with original opaline glass and flower decorated plastic wrapped shade. A beautiful pendant that could have originally been bought in many different types of shades made of fabric, plastic and other materials. This plastic version is decorated with flowers, as mentioned and seen in the photos.
The lamp comes in original condition and the height can be adjustable as it is hanging by the electric wiring that can be shortened or changed into a longer one.
Itsu was one of the leading light manufacturing companies and a daughter company of Idman. Along with companies like Taito Oy, Idman and Orno they defined what Finnish design lamps would become. It made high quality lamps and produced lamps for major projects, including some of Alvar Aalto's projects like the Aalto University. -
