Description
A minimal but beautiful letter opener, model no. 4215, designed by Carl Auböck III in 1953. Crafted by the family workshop Werkstatte Carl Aubock, Vienna, Austria, in the 1950s, maybe 1960s. Made of polished brass with a nicely hand-stitched handle of black leather with white stitching. We have taken the liberty of polishing the brass by hand, so it shines in its old glory again. Probably little used, as it is in very well-kept condition with only a few signs of use. Length 7.5", width 1.75", thickness 0.25". A decorative piece for the desk.
