Description
This elegant five arm chandelier was produced by ASEA in Sweden in the 1950s. The lamp consists of a brass stem, a carved oak centerpiece to which the five arms are attached. The decorative brass leaves attached to the stem and the five sculpted and ribbed brass arms are characteristic for the work of Hans Bergström. The decorative brass finial detail below the wood central element and the beautiful brass canopy with relief details complete the design. The slightly tapered fabric shades have been renewed in a matt ivory fabric. A very striking and elegant example of Swedish Modern lighting.
